Every year Premal and I go on a vacation where its just the two of us. This year we were thinking if taking a mini vacation before the baby comes since we won't get a chance after. We would go in the month of May. We want to go for only a weekend. In the past we have gone to NYC and Vermont. But where to go this year? I'd like to go someplace peaceful and relaxing. Anyone know any nice places near MA? It has to be in driving distance as I won't be able to fly.

1. Acadia National Park (Bar Harbor) is awesome.. I stayed at WONDER VIEW INN & SUITES (http://www.wonderviewinn.com) The rooms were awesome overlooking the harbor. We could see the sunrise over the boats in the morning.. Very pretty..
2. Woods Hole, MA. You can take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard from here if you want. I've stayed at the Nautilus Motor Inn (http://www.nautilusinn.com)

5. Boothbay Harbor, ME
here are the limitations:
1. no more than 3hr drive
2. no walking involved at vacation spot
3. max 3 days
4. no casinos
5. nothing north of masspike
eg: poconos resort, but thats > 3hr drive :(
